Unpacking Ideas

The wise man again complained saying, “The giant man who is fine-sounding and good-looking is indeed larger, but still he does nothing but talk and sleep. If he is larger, should he not do more?”

My worms do nothing to get my attention. They never complain. I don’t know what they want. I feed them, they eat the food, they leave a trail of exrement to enrich my garden. This is the extent of our relationship.

The original team helplessly walked out of the operating room. As they left, they turned to notice the replacement surgeon slowly raising his head with an expression of horror at what he saw on the table. Standing over the body, the new surgeon muttered, “I had no idea it was this bad. I need more time.”
